Guild wars stuck at connecting? - Guild Wars Forums

Hey so I got disconnected like 5minutes ago and I tried logging back it and it just sits there saying connecting. I tried restarting still have the same issue and my connection to the internet is solid. Any ideas?

I just also tried accessing the main guild wars site it doesn't load whats up?

The servers right now are acting weird for everyone. Give it time I suppose.

Has been frequently happening to me throughout the weekend I wrote it off as the fault of my new router but still questioned it since both my xbox's could run while downloading torrents and pull host in call of duty. I'm in east coast united states and am somewhat happy to find out that I'm not the only one.

Same every time it salvage an item I get d/c but can reconnect.

Went to GH and tried to salvage then the game logged out. Now I can't get back in. Internet is working fine. (obviously)

Haha yes I had GW in the background and went to check....007, Europe here.
Time to give the game a rest and get some housework done, its likely better in some hours.

I think that's different. GW seems to always simply disconnect if you try to salvage an item while you're already salvaging another item (and the salvaging hasn't been processed yet). If that's the problem, just wait for the game to salvage the previous item and only then salvage another.

As for connection trouble... no idea.

any who the long version of what happned to me last night night. just doing a solo dungeon last night. I had a break in between the boss key and run to the end and started to salvage some junk. i click to salvage and d/c. Do you wish to connect.. try again diff item.... same... repeat....so after that i ran to the end of the level. kill Ilsundur then tired it and same thing happened. moved around, then try to salvage a sword and something and got the same d/c. just gave up and checked guru and seemed like ppl were haveing some connection errors and wanted to post what i was happing to me.

hope it's fixed/updated later.
